SEO Technician (6 month FTC)

Location: Bromley, Kent
Part-time (30 hours p/w)

The brand continues to grow particularly online. with ambitious growth targets to meet and a rich brand to maintain. Russell & Bromley is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate SEO Technician to join during a key season and website migration. This position is initially contracted for 6 months with potential for extension depending on circumstances.

Reporting to the Head Digital, as SEO Technician you will be instrumental in developing Russell & Bromley’s online presence and optimising the site.

What will the role include?

  • Implementation of SEO best practice recommendations as provided by our external agency but also proactively analysing data to optimize SEO where necessary.
  • Develop and deliver components of web pages in accordance to Company brand guidelines.
  • Work with our external agency, Lead Developer and Digital Marketing Team to ensure that projects are delivered on time.
  • To support the Lead Developer when required.
  • Work collaboratively with the Ecommerce Team, PR and Design Studio to implement the brand’s digital strategy and to identify digital opportunities to support overall business objective.

Who we are looking for?

  • Minimum 1 year’s relevant experience
  • A keen interest in digital marketing with an understanding of SEO best practices and its effects within a digital marketing strategy
  • A good working knowledge of HTML and CSS programming languages
  • Excellent IT skills including Excel, Outlook and Word
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Google Adwords, Google Search Console, Google My Business
  • Experience with CMS platform and ecommerce
  • Analytics & conversion measurement
  • Experience of managing SEO elements of Migration would be beneficial
  • A passion for all things Front End keeping up to date with the latest developments
  • Strong analysis and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills when discussing both technical & non-technical issues at all levels
  • Attention to detail

Ladies' Footwear Buyer

Location: Bromley, Kent

About the role

  • The role requires a passion for product and an ability to find, create and buy the right product at the right time to ensure high sales
  • You will source exclusive product for our current UK based stores and website, working closely with established and new factories to build long term relationships
  • You will build an edited collection of products which is continuously traded within guidance parameters ensuring all products are of acceptable quality for our markets
  • You will be responsible for all aspects of stock management within approved budgets
  • You will carry our regular competition shopping to ensure the best product line is built
  • You will work closely with our Merchandising, Marketing, Display, PR, Store Operations and E-Commerce Departments, reporting to the Buying Director
  • The role involves travel to foreign trade shows, markets and factories on a six monthly basis, which can vary each season
  • You will present collections twice a year to sales teams and management

  • An experienced Buyer/Range Builder
  • Should have a keen passion for product
  • A sound knowledge of fashion and trends that can be applied to our product
  • Numerical aptitude to calculate optimum size breakdown for different footwear to maximise efficiency of stock
  • An artistic aptitude to communicate and record pictorially
  • A desire to work in a motivated and dynamic team environment
  • A driven individual with the ability to work in a team or independently
  • An ability to communicate well with all levels of the business
